UNM has put into place many measures for the safety of our campus community during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Students, faculty and staff receive daily emails to report whether they have any symptoms of the disease and whether or not they are intending to come to campus. We are also tracking information on members of our community that test positive for COVID-19, either through services at UNM or self-reported, and are fully cooperating with the State’s Contact Tracing efforts. This combined information allows us to direct resources to help individuals with needs and enables us to work together to create a safe environment for learning.
Screening surveys are distributed to students, faculty and staff at UNM’s Main and Branch Campuses. UNM’s Health Sciences center students, faculty and staff undergo a separate screening process not included in these numbers.
Students, faculty and staff who report they intend to be on campus today.
Students, faculty and staff who report they are showing symptoms that may be COVID-19 related. These individuals will be referred to medical experts for appropriate follow up.
Daily total number of students and UNM non-clinical faculty and staff that have tested positive for COVID-19 either through UNM sponsored testing or through self-reporting of results of testing administered elsewhere and who have been on campus within two weeks before or two weeks after their test, and whose test results were reported to UNM on this day (irrespective of the date of the test).
